| Description | This unit focuses on the ways that organisations generate, manage and obtain value from their information and knowledge assets. The unit adopts a design thinking approach and represents a move away from the industrial era focus on business administration to the global information era focus on innovation and sustainability in the design and management of information products and services. It sharpens our focus on the informed organisation and on the needs of information users. We use industry case studies to develop in-depth knowledge of information management theory and design workshops to develop your knowledge and skills in the use of key design methods and tools. |
