Cary Di Lernia is Associate Lecturer of Accounting and Business Law. Before commencing his academic career he worked in a variety of roles in financial markets and in legal practice. Prior to his appointment to the University of Sydney, Cary was a member of faculty at Macquarie University in the Department of Accounting and Finance.
Cary holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours, as well as a first class Honours degree in Philosophy from Macquarie University. He also holds a Master of Philosophy from the University of New South Wales.
Cary teaches in the areas of management accounting, corporate and commercial law. He is building an active research profile on the borders of Accounting and Business Law, and is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Sydney focussing on Australia's Continuous Disclosure regime.
