Anja's current research interests include union mergers as a revitalization strategy, gender equity in trade unions, and post-merger integration in non-profit organizations. She is also part of an international research program exploring the effects of globalization on industrial relations and human resource management in the retail banking and automobile assembly industries. Anja holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of Konstanz, Germany and a PhD from the University of Sydney. She teaches Leadership in Organisations and Human Resource Strategies in both the undergraduate and graduate programs of the Faculty of Economics and Business.
