The Faculty of Economics and Business attracts distinguished and highly regarded scholars and experts from a broad range of areas to complement and extend the framework of a vigorous business Faculty. Since 2000, the staff across the Faculty have come together to create a research-intensive community that effectively traverses economic foundations to business decision-making in government and public policy. A surge of books with leading commercial publishers and journal articles in high profile international journals demonstrates the intellectual vigour of the Faculty and its staff. Both staff and students have been active in presenting at international and national conferences and a number have been invited to take up prestigious visiting positions at overseas institutions.
