SafeAssign is provided by the Faculty as an educational tool for students to check and improve their paraphrasing and academic referencing skills. If you are planning to provide your students with access to SafeAssign in your unit, you can put the following into the SafeAssign instructions field. Copy and paste from the box below, and edit as suits your needs. We recommend that you edit these instructions to include an indication for students of what percentage of cited work is acceptable for the assessment piece. This is indicated by the percentage matching score. Go to the Safe Assign page for more information about SafeAssign.
NB: Please note that the SafeAssign function is intended for use with draft documents, rather than final submission documents.
