Graduate Certificate in Innovation and Enterprise
The Graduate Certificate aims to equip entrepreneurs in business and social enterprises with the skills, knowledge and experience to successfully start and grow their own business.
The course ensures participants gain an understanding of:
- commercialisation processes and activities
- intellectual property management
- business and marketing strategy
- financial and capital management
- project management
Participants also have the opportunity to develop expertise in:
- social entrepreneurship
- enterprise in the creative industries
- commercialisation of research and other intellectual property
Entry Requirements
Five years' relevant work experience or a completed bachelor's degree, graduate diploma/certificate or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution (at a standard acceptable to the faculty).
Scholarship
Domestic research students concurrently enrolled in a relevant research program at The University of Sydney may be eligible for a Commercialisation Training Scheme (CTS) Scholarship.
If you are a current postgraduate research student at the University of Sydney, this scholarship is designed for you. In 2009, the University expects to offer up to 28 CTS places to facilitate study of the Graduate Certificate in Innovation and Enterprise.
