Scholarships Dinner 2009
The Dean, Professor Peter Wolnizer hosted the Faculty's 2009 Scholarships Dinner on Tuesday, 5th of May. He presided over an enjoyable evening, with around 300 people in attendance.
The Scholarships Dinner has become one of the Faculty's prominent events to recognise scholastic achievement, as well as donor participation. The Faculty awards over 90 scholarships to commencing students each year, with overall expenditure on its scholarship and prizes program totalling over $1 million. Scholarship donors in attendance on the night included Mr Wayne Lonergan, Mr Charles Littrell, Dr Kimberley Cartwright and V. John Plummer.
Recipients, parents, principals and other distinguished guests enjoyed pre-dinner drinks held at the Nicholson Museum, followed by a fabulous dinner in the MacLaurin Hall.
