Marketing

The Discipline of Marketing specialises in quantitative analysis, the modelling of consumer and customer behaviour, associated marketing models and sophisticated marketing research methods. It has, as well, specific interests in retail and services marketing, new product development and marketing, marketing communications and media research, and market research quality assurance.

All of this finds its expression in a significant record of scholarship and research, applied research and consulting, professional development programs, and a very substantial involvement in undergraduate and postgraduate marketing education.

Postgraduate Study in Marketing

Master of Marketing

This is a new course commencing in Semester 1, 2009. It specialist degree designed for professionals who either take time out of their career or who are able to complete a challenging course whilst working. Students can complete the degree in one intensive year of study, including two semesters of study as well as summer and winter school. The part-time option includes evening lectures as well as some intensive weekends of study. A high level of commitment is required from students, as well as support from employers.

Master of Commerce (Including Combined Degrees)

Under the Master of Commerce, students can complete Marketing units of study as part of majors, including a major in Marketing, or as electives.
