Finance
Finance units of study are tailored to the preparation of students for a number of different career paths in finance. Graduates are sought after by some of the premier investment banks, fund managers and securities brokers in the world. Financial planners and blue chip corporations seeking graduates for placement in financial management and treasury positions also actively recruit many graduates of the Faculty.
Discipline members actively engage with industry, both in Australia and internationally. Consequently, instruction includes a mix of theory and current practice.

Undergraduate Study in Finance
Students can complete a Finance major or elective Finance units in:
- Bachelor of Commerce
- Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts
- Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws
- Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (New degree in 2009)
- Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science
- Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies)
- Bachelor of Economics
- Bachelor of Economics / Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (New degree in 2009)
- Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce

Master of Commerce (Including Combined Degrees)
Students can complete Finance units of study as part of majors, including majors in Banking, Finance and Quantitative Finance, or as electives under the following:

- Master of Commerce and Master of Logistics Management
- Master of Commerce and Master of Professional Accounting

Master of Economics
Under the Master of Economics, students can complete Finance units of study as part of a major in Financial Economics, or as electives.
Majors
Master of Professional Accounting
Under the Master of Professional Accounting and Master of Commerce and Master of Professional Accounting students must complete compulsory Finance units of study. Students may also take additional Finance units as electives.
