The Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Sydney provides Australia, and increasingly Asia and the world, with leaders in economics, business and government. Our mission is to educate and prepare potential leaders more effectively than any other Australian university.

The interdisciplinary nature of the Faculty gives particular recognition to the relevance and influence of economics and the social sciences, and seeks to deal with the reality of business and government in which the economic, social and political framework profoundly impacts on the nature of all business activity and opportunity. We are engaged with the issues, events, and opportunities of the times, bringing to bear on them analytic frameworks and specialist knowledge that sheds new lights on common assumptions.
