Event : How to design groupwork that avoids divide and conquer and promotes all member engagement
Mon 1st Sep 2008 to Mon 1st Sep 2008
When you use group assessments or activities, do you find:
- Students carry unequal workloads?
- Students not being able to remain engaged on the assigned task?
- Unpacking the group tasks is laborious, does not generate discussion and/or is difficult to mark?
- If so, the answer may be in only slightly re-designing your group activity/task.
The session will be presented by the Senior Fulbright Scholar and world class expert on team based learning and integrated business experience, Professor Larry Michaelsen visiting our Faculty.
