The Australasian Standing Committee of the Econometric Society (ESASC) is the arm of The Econometric Society with primary administrative responsibility for regional matters in Australasia. Chief among its duties is the co-ordination of the annual Australasian Meetings of The Econometric Society. This home page may be used to obtain information about various aspects of the Australasian Standing Committee's activities. You can find out where we held past conferences and can link to the home pages for future conferences. If you would like to submit a proposal to host a future conference, you can download a short bid document that outlines the information needed in the proposal. This website also contains a list of invited lecturers at previous conferences together with information about the Lectures, named in honour of past distinguished Australasian economists. We also have further information on the makeup, work and members of the Australasian Standing Committee. To find out more about the history of the activities of The Econometric Society in Australasia, look at a report submitted to the Executive Committee of the Society. For your convenience, we have a list of members
of The Econometric Society who are resident in the Australasian region
and some links to useful related home pages.
Finally, if you have suggestions
we would like to hear them. Past Conferences | Report | Links | Home
