Transfers
In the admissions process, students receive an offer of admission to a specific award course. They enrol in that award course and follow the requirements of that award course. There are often times when students would like to study in a different award course and in some cases they may apply to transfer.
For more information refer to the following sections of the Faculty's Administration Manual for Students:
- Undergraduate students: Downgrading from a combined award course to a single award course, or transferring from one combined law course to another combined law course
- Undergraduate students - all other transfers
- Undergraduate and postgraduate students - transferring out of the Faculty of Economics and Business
The only ways a student may transfer between degrees are either when transferring from one Combined Law program to another (eg, a request to transfer from Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Law to Bachelor of Commere/Bachelor of Law) or when downgrading from a Combined program to a single program (eg, a request to transfer from Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Arts to a Bachelor of Commerce). All other transfer requests must be handled as a new application either to UAC (for local students) or the University International Office (for International students).
If you meet the criteria to apply for an undergraduate transfer, you will need to download and complete the Undergraduate Degree Transfer Application form. All other transfer requests must be directed to UAC for local students and the International Office for international students.
