Financial Economics Major (Master of Economics)

Description

Requirements for the major

To obtain a Financial Economics major, students must complete at least three units of study (18 credit points), comprising:

  1. one additional core/prerequisite unit of study for the major (six credit points):
  2. Note. The core unit of study FINC5001 does not count towards the major but is the prerequisite unit of study for most of the 'FINC' 6000-level units of study in this major.

  3. two compulsory units of study (12 credit points):
  4. at least one of the following elective units of study (six credit points):

* Students can complete their elective unit/s of study for the Financial Economics major in any semester, subject to pre/corequisite requirements.
