Welcome to Faculty of Economics and Business Clubs and Societies Program. The program provides support and funds to associated student Clubs and Societies in recognition of the benefits and rewards they bring to the Faculty.
Typically funded events provide Faculty students with developmental opportunities such as guest speakers, seminars, workshops, industry networking events and conferences among other things. Applications for funding towards administration, promotional, website development and other resource expenses will also be considered in this context. Some 'start up' funds are available also. Please note: social events and O Week activities will not be considered for funding.

- Beta Alpha Psi (BAP)
BAP is a students association for academically successful students majoring in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems. Beta Alpha Psi was founded in 1919 in the United States of America. In 2006, there are 263 chapters on college and university campuses with over 300,000 members initiated since Beta Alpha Psi's formation. The University of Sydney chapter is the first non US based chapter accepted into BAP.

BISA aims to promote a sense of identity and cohesion among BIS studentson campus. We aim to facilitate connections between the Society and the BIS industry, helping members find employment after Uni and through our socialprogram, enjoyment while at Uni.

» BISA on Facebook - Business & Professional Ethics Group (BPEG) Student Society
The BPEG Student Group was established with the aim of stimulating interest in business ethics at a student level, and providing a forum in which issues relating to business ethics can be discussed. To this end, the Group promotes and gives effect to BPEG events and also holds its own events of interest to students. The Group operates with full support from BPEG and the Faculty of Economics & Business.

The first ever Commerce Revue Society, established itself in 2008! The Commerce Revue includes 50 cast and crew, largely from the Faculty of Economics and Business and will run from October 15th to 17th at the Seymour Centre. The Revue gives those involved a variety of skills in not only performance, but theatre production and business development skills including promotion, recruitment and accounting. ComSoc is a student society that caters specifically for students of the Economics and Business Faculty, with a membership base of over 600 students. It was established to cater for two distinct needs that were not being met; more vocational experience and to increase social interaction within the faculty. ComSoc addresses both areas through our varied program of events.

The Economics and Econometrics Society (Ecosoc) is well established as a society representative of all students in the Economics & Business faculty. It aims to enrich the student experience, providing members with high quality academic, career and social events & information throughout the year. From high profile speakers to weekly drinks, career fairs and impressive social events the Economics Society brings together the academic, social and professional networks needed to ensure its members stand out.

FMAA was founded in 1990 at the University of Melbourne with the strong support of Macquarie Bank, the National organisation also has branches in Sydney and Brisbane. Starting in the University of Sydney in 1995, the FMAA is the leading organisation for all Economics and Business students in providing links with future employers and guiding students through the recruitment process. With large-scale formal business events as well as intimate tailored events, we provide forums of networking and interaction with representatives from our 21 National Sponsor firms; covering the industries of Investment Banking, Accounting, Management Consulting, Insolvency,Law and Professional Accreditation.
