Description This unit explores the processes that govern why consumers buy (and don\\\'t buy), and what possessions mean to them. Students learn to apply the concepts, principles, and theories from various social sciences to the study of factors that influence the acquisition and consumption of products, services and ideas. Specifically, principles from economics, psychology, sociology, social psychology, cultural anthropology and human geography are used to describe and explain consumer behaviour.
