Description In todays digital information society it is essential that organizations have effective strategies for generating, managing and obtaining value from their information and knowledge assets. It requires an understanding of the national policy, legal, technological and business imperatives that shape information design. INFS6017 adopts a design thinking approach that focuses on innovation and sustainability in the design and management of information products and services. We use industry case studies to develop in-depth knowledge of information management theory and hands-on design workshops to develop your knowledge and skills in the use of key design methods and tools (e.g. user-centred service design, information audit, information needs analysis, user modelling).
