Description This unit aims to provide a much richer set of insights about how to use financial, competitive and corporate strategies to enhance the cash-flow of the firm and hence its value. The theoretical underpinnings of the approach come from treating executives as the agents of the principal, namely shareholders. These financial and corporate strategies include getting the structure of the organisation right and correctly measuring the value-added by the enterprise after deducting all inputs including capital inputs. It is also crucial to gain an understanding of the foundations of strategy, which come from the \"Game Theory\".
