| Description | This unit introduces students to doing business in the global environment of the twenty-first century. The broad themes examined are globalisation and the multinational enterprise; the international political and economic environment; society and culture; international cooperation; and international risks. This inter-disciplinary unit is taught using collaborative learning, including in-class quizzes and team analyses, with a focus on developing skills in intercultural communication as well as an awareness of ethics and human rights in business both at home and abroad. |
