| Course requirements | To be awarded the Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations, students must successfully complete a total of six units of study (36 credit points), comprising:

| Guide to enrolment | Although not always necessary, students would normally complete the required core units of study in their first semester. However, providing that specified prerequisites / corequisites for the relevant elective units of study are met, a student may take one or more elective units of study in the first semester, and one or more core units of study in subsequent semesters. The following table illustrates a program of study for a student enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations on a full-time basis undertaking three units of study per semester.
