Business Information Systems Association (BISA)

BISA was launched in May 2005 by Prof. Rick Watson, International President of the Association for Information Systems, a global association of IS academics.

The Business Information Systems Student Association (BISA) aims to promote a sense of identity and cohesion among BIS students.

The CIO Executive Council is a sponsor of BISA. This is a key strategic alliance between BIS students and CIOs that will ensure the business and technical capabillities of BIS students are brought to the attention of CIOs directly. With the encouragement of the CIO Executive Council BISA will invite students in BIS departments across the country to join with it to form a national BIS student association.
