How do I activate my Faculty of Economics & Business computer account?
Before you can use your Economics and Business computer account, you must activate it using your Unikey account details. Once this is done, your Economics and Business password will be the same as your Unikey password. You can activate your account at the Economics and Business Account Activation page.

After activation, use your Unikey account details to log in to Blackboard, the PC lab computers and Remote Access.

Why isn't my unit of study listed in Blackboard?
Not every Unit of Study in the Faculty has a Blackboard site associated with it. Check with your unit co-ordinator to see if their unit has a Blackboard site.

If you have recently altered your enrolment, the details of the change may take a few days to appear in the site listed on Blackboard.

Why is there something missing from the Blackboard site I have access to?
If you think there is something missing or a mistake in your unit's Blackboard site, you should contact your lecturer or unit co-ordinator. Contact details for your lecturers and unit of study coordinator can be found in your unit of study outline (available within your unit’s Blackboard site). You can also look up contact details on the University Electronic Phone Book.

If you cannot contact your unit of study coordinator, please contact the eLearning Helpdesk.

Why can't I print an attachment from my Blackboard site?
Sometimes documents are difficult to print when they open up within the Blackboard browser window (with the buttons and toolbars visible). If you are having difficulty printing documents, you should try to open the document in a new window and print it from there. To do this, you would:

  1. Right-click the document link
  2. Choose 'Open in New Window' from the menu.
  3. Once the document opens in a new browser window, go to the 'File' menu and choose 'Print...'.

If you need further help, please contact the eLearning Helpdesk.

  2. From the My Faculty tab, select the View Grades link, as shown.
    ViewGrades
